The West Yorkshire Consortium of Colleges (WYCC) is re-tendering for applications to deliver training that enables low paid employed individuals progress within the workplace and achieve improved skill levels.
The new deadline for applications is 5pm Wednesday 4 December.
The Progression From Low Pay project specifically supports employed individuals with low earnings working in sectors across Leeds City Region that typically have a low skilled workforce including health and social care, retail, hospitality and tourism and transport and logistics.
WYCC will support programmes of training with up to 40% cost contribution (funded by the European Social Fund) that will facilitate progression through skills support in order to increase earning potential and increase social mobility.
Applicants are expected to outline which training topics would be suitable, considering a combination of sector focused skills and complimentary workplace soft skills.
