Leeds-based business BW Legal have received a range of technical and behavioural training through The Skills Service

BW Legal's Learning and Development Manager, Samantha Cooke:

“As a business we are driven to keep upskilling our colleagues to be the best they can be. As a growing company we wanted to explore all avenues to provide the best quality of learning across the board and found the WYCC Skills Service was a great opportunity to access the best training for our staff to benefit from.

This funding has been a huge benefit for the business to be able to upskill our colleagues in areas that will make them better and drive performance and productivity. The external providers have delivered training which addresses technical and leadership skills and this has built the confidence and knowledge of our management team to allow them to deal with situations more effectively and provide better support for their team.”

“The process has been smooth and is a great turnaround from application to panel for approval. The paperwork was hassle-free and our skills advisor, Sharlotte, was supportive in our application. Sharlotte is always on hand to support our queries, she is really knowledgeable on the process and has fully listened to our needs and has been so supportive in our customer journey through every application.

We have received a selection of training through The WYCC Skills Service with ESF funding and had a selection of providers on site to provide training. Each external company were professional, knowledgeable and catered to our needs and more. Each learner in each course came away learning something new and enjoyed the course throughout.

I would recommend The WYCC Skills Service highly. Throughout our entire customer journey they have been helpful, supportive, open and actively listened to our needs.”
